WELCOME TO THE RESEARCH STUDY

Welcome to the research study being conducted by Allen Gorman, PhD, Assistant Professor of Psychology at Radford University. We appreciate your willingness to participate.

This important research study consists of two parts, both conducted online:

1. A five question self-recorded video interview.
2. A survey.

Upon completing both parts of the study you will be paid $10. To qualify for payment you must be a resident of the United States and at least 21 years of age, and you must complete both the video interview and the survey.

To take the online video interview portion of the study you will need:

• A high speed Internet connection
• Either a PC or Mac equipped with a webcam and microphone
• Windows XP or higher for PC; OS X Leopard or higher for Mac
• One of the following web browsers
• Internet Explorer 7 or higher
• FireFox 4 or higher
• Safari 5 or higher
• Adobe Flash Player 10 or higher

To register for the Study, please enter your name and email address below and click Submit. You will be taken to your personal interview portal where you will learn more about the interview process. You will start your interview from your portal. Once you complete the video interview you will be taken to the online survey.

Upon signing up you will also be sent an email which will contain a login and password plus a link to the video interview portal so you can login if you decide to complete the interview later. If you don't find the email in your inbox, check your spam folder.

The email will also contain a link that will take you to the online survey.
