About Us
Crypto Casinos was built for one reason: US players who want to gamble with Bitcoin, Ethereum, stablecoins and other crypto have very little honest, US-specific information to work from. Most casino review sites are written for a global audience and skip over the questions that matter most here — is this legal where I live, what happens with KYC, and will a withdrawal actually clear. This page explains how we work, what we check, and where our money comes from.
What We Actually Do
We research and compare crypto casinos that accept US players, looking specifically at the things a US-based crypto gambler needs to know before depositing: which coins are supported, how fast withdrawals move, whether a site requires identity verification, what licence (if any) it holds, and what the bonus terms really commit you to. We do not accept deposits, place wagers or attempt withdrawals ourselves — we review publicly available terms, licensing information and platform features, and we update pages as offers and policies change.
How We Rank the Sites We Cover
Our ratings weigh a consistent set of factors across every site we list:
- Coin support — how many cryptocurrencies are accepted, and whether stablecoins like USDT or USDC are available for players who want to avoid price swings mid-session
- Verification approach — whether a site is genuinely low-KYC, what triggers ID checks (usually larger withdrawals), and how that's disclosed upfront
- Bonus terms — the headline offer alongside its wagering requirements, time limits and any game restrictions, not the offer in isolation
- Licensing — where the operator is licensed (typically Curaçao or Anjouan) and what that licence does and doesn't cover
- Game variety and providers — slots, live dealer, table games and in-house "originals," and whether well-known studios back the software
- Payout speed and limits — advertised withdrawal times and any caps, based on published operator information
Commercial relationships never decide position on our lists. Some casinos we cover — including options like BetPanda, CoinPoker Casino and Cryptorino — pay us a referral commission if a reader signs up through our links, and we disclose that plainly. That arrangement has no bearing on editorial ratings; a site with a commercial relationship with us can score lower than one without, and does when our research says so.
Why We Cover Crypto Casinos the Way We Do
Crypto casinos sit in a genuine grey area for US players. There is no federal legalization of online casino gaming, and the handful of states that do regulate online casinos (including New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Michigan, West Virginia, Connecticut, Delaware and Rhode Island) license conventional, dollar-based operators — not crypto ones. The sites we review are licensed offshore, typically in Curaçao or Anjouan, not by any US federal or state regulator. We say this plainly on every review rather than implying a legality these sites don't have. Readers are responsible for checking their own state's laws before playing, and some operators self-restrict certain states regardless of what a search result suggests.
We also try to be straightforward about the trade-offs of "no-KYC" play: lighter verification can mean faster signups and more privacy, but it doesn't remove the need to report gambling winnings or crypto gains for tax purposes — that's a matter for a qualified tax professional, not something we advise on. And we never frame minimal verification as a way to hide income or dodge reporting obligations.
What We Won't Do
A few lines we hold ourselves to, across every page on this site:
- We don't guarantee winnings or frame gambling as a way to make money — the house edge and crypto price volatility both work against the player over time
- We don't advise readers on evading state restrictions, geoblocks or verification checks
- We don't publish bonus figures without their wagering requirements and conditions attached
- We don't hide our affiliate relationships or let them influence ratings
- We don't write for, or target, anyone under the applicable age minimum — 18+ or 21+ depending on the site and the reader's state
Responsible Gambling Comes First
Every review on this site carries a reminder that gambling — with crypto or otherwise — carries real financial risk, on top of the price volatility that comes with holding crypto itself. Offshore casinos generally don't offer the same player protections, deposit limits or self-exclusion tools that state-regulated operators are required to provide, so it's worth using whatever tools a site does offer and setting your own limits before you start. If gambling is becoming a problem, the National Problem Gambling Helpline is available at 1-800-GAMBLER, and our responsible gambling page has further support resources.
